Horseback riding is our main activity. That’s why our riding program emphasizes building confidence & learning new skills in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Ages 6 to Adult can participate in our daily rides and lessons. Wee Wranglers ages 3 to 5 can enjoy pony rides in our Kiddie Corral program. We offer three riding categories based on age and experience. Before your first ride, our Head Wrangler will conduct a safety orientation. After that we’ll match you up with a horse that just right for you – from first time riders to advanced. Next, you’ll be assigned to the riding group that best matches your skill level (a lope check for guests 12 years old and up is required before being allowed to enter an advanced rider group.) Each day’s ride builds on the skills already learned creating a safe, challenging and fun experience for all.
Beginner Scenic Trail Rides – Gentle walking rides on trails and roads perfect for riders who just want to take it easy. These rides stress more guidance and less instruction. Both children and adults are welcome.
Intermediate Trail Rides – Balance, physical skills, and confidence are needed. Rides include walking & trotting on roads and trails, with some off trail bushwhacking. Focusing on developing skills while challenging each rider’s abilities, this category stresses more instruction and less guidance.
Advanced Trail Rides – Strong balance, physical skills, and confidence are required. These rides include walking, trotting, loping and advanced bushwhacking with steeper up and down hills traveled. This is for independent riders, stressing more guidance and less instruction.
